Well, that was a mistake!

I didn’t realize my domain (monkeyandcrow.com) had failed auto renew until someone mailed me asking where they could see an article mentioned on Stack Overflow. Much to my surprise, not only had the domain expired, but someone else had snatched it up. I obviously had taken a long hiatus from writing, but it still felt like a loss.

Sometimes loss aversion is all you need.

Rather than write it off, I’ve decided to dust off my old content, reinvent this blog, and have a bit of fun while I’m at it. It also gives me a chance to try out some tools I wouldn’t normally use, like Astro and add the silly flourishes I can’t justify in professional code.
